Bird Watching Borneo
Bird Watching in Ulu Temburong National Park
Ulu Temburong National Park boasts one of the highest concentration of birds in Brunei with approximately one hundred bird species were identified of which, four species are endemic to Borneo. Bird watching or birding here is superb, immensely due to its location in the protected sanctuary surrounded by 50,000 HA of Bornean rainforests. The park is part of the Heart of Borneo international conservation area. Birds such as hornbills and kingfishers can be seen along the 40-minute long boat journey from Batang Duri jetty to the Ulu Ulu Resort upstream. Bird watching enthusiasts have the options to indulge in this activity along the resort’s boardwalk, atop the canopy walkway, take a river cruise upstream or delve into the forest trail with our well-trained guide. Many Birders have expressed that Ulu Temburong National Park is a HORNBILL PARADISE! Choose to stay minimum 4 days to 6 days at our very own Ulu Ulu Resort to experience the awe-inspiring birds kingdom and capture their life in photographs.
